Welcome to our class website! We are studying the Cherokee Indians and we have created a newspaper, called the Cherokee Nation. We hope that by exploring our website you will learn all about the Cherokee Indians.
The Cherokee Indians lived in the Appalachian Mountains in Georgia. They had a summer and a winter home. They were made from grass, mud, and long sticks. They dressed a lot differently than we do today. They wore clothing made from deerskin, rabbit fur, and turkey feathers.
