Email Notification Service

Parents
The service that we use to automatically notify you when the blog is updated has changed their terms of service in such a way that an ad will begin showing up at the bottom of the email that comes to you. Your email address is still not being shared with anyone other than the school! The mere placement of advertising in school communications is of concern to us, especially since we have no control over what the ad may be.

We are exploring other means of providing this service to you at this time. For now, we ask your patience as we work through the concern. In the meantime, if you receive an ad that is objectionable to you, we would appreciate your notifying the school, and holding onto it so that it may be forwarded to proper personnel.

Thank you for your patience!

We have been learning about spring and St. Patrick's Day.  Mrs. Brenda read a story to us and then Mrs. Lisa helped us to paint.

You Scream, I Scream, We all Scream for Ice Cream!

Picture7_4 Thursday, we made homemade ice cream!  Mrs. Brenda, our Speech Therapist, and Mrs. Lisa, our Occupational Therapist, helped us.  We read a book about ice cream.  We learned that it tastes cold and sweet.  We also learned that you can eat it from a bowl or a cone.  Then we measured and mixed the ingredients.  We poured the ingredients into a quart size zip-loc bag.  Ice, rock salt, and the quart size bag were all placed into a gallon size zip-loc bag.  Then we took turns shaking and rolling the bag for 10 minutes.  The finished product was definitely both cold and sweet.  We all voted that it was also delicious!

Volleyball

Check out Mrs. Hammond's class playing modified volleyball.  Through this fun activity, we have the students work on eye hand coordination, striking skills, team work, and cooperation.  The teachers use hand over hand to assist students who can't move on their own.   Each team makes up a name.  This time, the Warriors competed with the Go Getters and the Warriors won!  Mr. Manson, our Assistant Principal was one of the Warriors. 1907_045_1  1907_0431907_039
