We will soon be coming to the close of our first 9 weeks of school. You will receive your child’s first report card at our conference during the week of Oct. 18-22. We will do our best to stay on schedule, so we ask that you please be on time for your conference. If your scheduled time does not work, please send a note so that we can work with you on a time that will. We try to schedule siblings back to back with other teachers for your convenience. More information will be coming home about conferences. I look forward to meeting with all of you!
I want to say THANK YOU everyone who comes in to volunteer. Many of you ask, “What can I do to help?” I do not often have copies or laminating to do. (If I do…I’m way behind in my plans). You being in the room and working with the children is the best way to help me. Your children LOVE to learn, and they crave adult conversation. I know they would love to chat with you while they are participating in literacy and math centers. Drop by any time you can! Our door is always open :)
