It was rainy, it was cold, but it was still FUN! We were able to go back in time and see what it was like in Colonial days.
Our host shared with us what a day in the life of a colonial boy was like. Between the chores, the strict schoolmaster, and the lack of comfort items, hopefully the children caught a glimpse of how hard it used to be. They also were able to see what some of the children played with. They had simple toys, and we even got to decorate and take home a wooden top.
Mrs. Brannon and Mrs. Green even helped out.
We also got to ride on a tractor through the woods to get our pumpkins. It was wet, but we were bundled up
and still had fun. 
Then it was time to hike back through the woods to our picnic pavilion. We were all hungry!
We had a fabulous day, and on our way home, well...zzzz!
