Happy Labor Day!!!!
We are beginning our 4th week of school. Boy, does time fly! We have had a wonderful beginning to the school year. They seem to be adjusting to the "4th grade way of life"! What a great class I have. So many smiling faces! They make coming to school fun. I just wanted to let you all know about my recent absences. I DO NOT like to be out of school, but I am suffering from a herniated disc (I think). My MRI hasn't yet been read, but that is what the doctor is suspecting. I am supposed to go back on Thursday to have the MRI read, but I am in such great pain that I am going to be out tomorrow and demand (nicely) to be seen. I made a visit to the ER on Sunday and it didn't do much good at all. I can't sit, stand, walk, lay, etc. without major pain shooting through my left leg. So, please know that I am doing my best to get "well" and not have to miss school.
Social Studies- Finsihed map skills and moving into econmics
Math- Finsihing up place value (Value of a digit, rounding, comparing, etc.)
Language arts- Descriptive writing, Sentences (types, subjects/predicates), Poetry
