Welcome!

Hello Fellow Dolphins! 

My name is Meg Reed.  I'm the new media specialist at Dowell.  This is my first year in Cobb County, but I'm certainly not a novice!  I've been an elementary school media specialist for more than 20 years.  When I became a media specialist, we were called "librarians" and we didn't even have computers!!! 

This promises to be an exciting year of learning at Dowell.  Look for future posts about Book Club and News Team opportunities!

Every class will visit the media center in the first few weeks of school so students can get busy reading and taking Accelerated Reader quizzes!

I received a "all call" from Cobb District about the meeting in the Media center on Friday. Could you save some information for me as I am interested in cobb co summer events. I am new to the area.
