The Cobb School Counselor Association; Community Outreach Committee is sponsoring a fundraiser to help "stomp out" juvenile diabetes. Please support us by seeing one of your counselors to buy a "sneaker" for a $1.00. The proceeds will go to the Juvenile Diabetes Research Federation. There is a sample of the sneaker on the mailroom door and the purchased sneakers will be displayed in the front of the building with the donor’s name. Thanks, as always, for your support!

Our new, positive behavior plan is in full swing. Chart will be located on the outside pocket of his/her binder. Parents must sign this form as WELL as the agenda each day!

Donations needed: wrapped, soft candy; pencils, erasers and pencil sharpeners.

After noticing students not finishing their meal in their thirty-minute lunch period, we have decided to implement a five-minute quiet time when the students enter the cafeteria. All students will be expected to be quiet during the first five minutes of their lunch period. During this time, it is our hope that students will begin eating their lunch and not lose track of time because of socializing with their friends. After the five-minute quiet time, the students will be allowed to talk quietly for the remainder of the lunch period. Please communicate this new procedure to your child. Thanks for your continued support.
