CRCT's are here!  The CRCT will be given next week, April 23-25.   The first day of testing is reading comprehension, 2nd day will be grammar, and the third day will be math.  It is very important that your child is not tardy any of these days.  Students who are tardy will have to make up the test at a later time.  Testing will begin at 8:10 each morning and finish up around 10:30.  Please make sure your child has a good nights rest, a good breakfast, and a snack!

There will be no spelling test or homework this week due to CRCT's.

Please send in $5.00 and a signed permission slip for the Viva Mexico field trip.

Registration cards went home yesterday.  Please fill out the information and return it with postage and your home address on the envelope.

Please practice coin counting and telling time to the hour and half hour at home.  We don't want to forget these skills as we move on.

Starbucks Book Club:  Next week a form will go home with your child.  Each time your child reads a book (outside of required reading) the child may fill out the book information on the form.  Once your child has read 8 books, you may bring your book card to Starbucks on Macland Rd. for a free tall non-coffee beverage.  You may earn one beverage for the nine weeks.

Report cards are going home today.  Please sign and return the card verifying that you have seen the report.  I have also included AR scores for this nine weeks.  Our AR goal this coming 9 weeks will be 22 books/per child.

I am sending home a copy of your child's AR score report so far in the nine weeks.  At this point, your child should have passed at least 10 tests.  Please go over the report with your child.  If you have any questions let me know.
