We will be tye dying tomorrow Nov. 8th.  Please send in a old pillow case (white or light colors) if you would like your child to participate.

We have begun to take our math 5 minute tests.  These test are not for a grade.  They are great practice in perfecting our math addition and subtraction skills and increase our speed.  Tests are given every Monday and Friday.  Once your child scores a 100 on their test, they will move up to the next level.

A big thank you to everyone who sent in envelopes for our Flat Stanley project.  So far our Flat Stanley's have traveled to and made it back safely from:  New York, Arizona, Michigan, Puerto Rico, California, and Pennsylvania!  What an exciting way for my students to learn about maps and places around the world!

We have another field trip coming up!  Next Tuesday we will be heading the the Etowah Indian Mounds.  Please make sure your child is wearing tennis shoes and warm clothing!  If you are bringing a lunch, make sure it is a SACK lunch and everything is able to be thrown away.  Parents:  If you would like to attend the price is $2.00.  There probably will be room on the bus, however, you might be asked to follow along in your own car.  Send me a quick note if you plan to attend.  Thanks!

Make sure your child has a snack to eat daily.
