Monday – COMPUTER

It is great to be back!  Thank you so much for all of your support while I was taking care of my husband.  It was wonderful to see all the children's smiling faces last Monday!  I want to thank the students & parents for all the sweet cards, gifts, and Valentine candy.  You are such a blessing!

Homework

During the month of March, I will be reviewing for CRCT and also teaching new skills.  Math review homework will be sent home today and will be due each Friday according to the schedule below.   Students who do not bring back their assigned pages on Friday will do the pages at recess.

Math homework assignments and due dates:

March 6 – Math worksheet pages 17-28

March 13 – Math worksheet pages 29-40

March 20 – Math worksheet pages 41-52

March 27 – Math worksheet pages 53-64

The language review packet comes homes today and will not be due until April 17th, which will give students 6 weeks to complete the packet.  If students do the front and back of a page each day, they will have more than enough time to do the assignment by the due date.  Because students have math and language review for homework, I will not be giving comprehension tests from the reading book during March.  We will continue to read the stories from the book each week in class, but we will concentrate on comprehension using  AR books.  Therefore, studying for spelling tests will be the only other homework unless students need extra help on a new math skill.
