- Telling time to 5 minutes
- Plural nouns & possessive nouns (ex. singular possessive: the boy's coat/plural possessive: several boys' coats)- It is very easy for students to get these concepts mixed-up. Thanks!
Spelling Assessment
There will be an assessment this Friday (tomorrow) on list 18 words located in the back of the 2nd Grade Handbooks. Start studying list 19 after tomorrow's assessment.

- Our next field trip is Feb. 8th. Any student who doesn't turn in the permission form will stay at school in another classroom and not go on the trip. I need all permission forms and lunch forms (whether your child is bringing a lunch from home or from the lunchroom) ASAP.

- Many students are out of dry erase markers. We use them everyday, so please check to make sure your child has at least 1. Thanks so much!

Cosmic Bowling
Cosmic bowling will be on Thursday, February 2nd! Bring your family for a night of fun, food, and bowling! The cost is only $1.00 per person! If you would like to guarantee yourself a lane at your preferred time, return the form and the money before Tuesday, January 31. When you aren't bowling, there will be concessions in the cafeteria. Tickets may be purchased for 50 cents to buy pizza (3 tickets), sno cones, cotton candy, popcorn, and drinks (all 1 ticket each). See you there!
There will be 4 sessions of bowling:
Session A: 5:30-6:00
Session B: 6:00-6:30
