Upcoming Week At A Glance 9/4/07

Problem of the Week:

Houses are numbered from 17 to 124 on the street where Eric and Luisa live. When they round their house numbers to the nearest 10, Eric's rounds to 30 and Luisa's rounds to 90. What is the greatest possible difference between their actual house numbers?

Spiral notebooks for journaling/notetaking, subject folders for organizing work, an ample supply of pencils (at least 2), a red and a blue or black pen, AND a great attitude!!!

Our Second Week!

We have been busy learning each other these last two weeks.  Classroom rules were developed and implemented. Students have taken Individual Reading Inventories, the STAR 2 and SRI quizzes which will help us plan appropriately to meet their needs.
