Week At A Glance 10/1/07

Upcoming Week at a Glance 10/1/07: Happy October! Don't forget to get plenty of rest for the ITBS this week.

Problem of the week (10/01/07):  Use each of the digits 0-9 only once to write 5 two digit numbers that have a sum of 288 (Hint: many possible solutions)

Last week's answer : Draw one line separating 10 and 11 and then separating 2 and 3. Draw the other line separating 8 and 9 and then separating 4 and 5. The sum of the numbers add to 26 in each part.

Vocabulary For the Week:  Due to testing, vocabulary and spelling will be postponed until October 8th, 2007

Newsy Notes:

Chicken buscuits have increased to $2.50 due to an increase in the school's cost to purchase them.

October 1-5th-ITBS testing begins. 5th grade schedule: Begins promptly at 9:00!!

Reminders to Students:

* Go to bed early!

*Please come prepared to class every day!

*Finish your homework first, then play!

*Say something kind and respectful to someone!

Reminders to Parents:

Your child will need to bring the following supplies daily:

Spiral notebooks for journaling/notetaking, subject folders for organizing work, an ample supply of pencils (at least 2), a red and a blue or black pen, AND a great attitude!!!
