The CRCT is quickly approaching, and now is the perfect time to begin talking with your child about the test. Talking with your child about the test can help to ease anxiety and build your child's confidence. Follow these tips for a more successful test taking week!
1. Make sure your child gets plenty of sleep and eats properly before the test.
2. Maintain a positive home environment and avoid unnecessary conflicts. Do not add to your child's stress.
3. Ensure your child is present during testing days, and arrives to school on time.
4. Help your child review for the test. You can purchase CRCT prep books at your local School Box store. Many teachers will also send home test practice.
5. Remind your child that the test is important. Encourage him/her to do their best!
6. Encourage your child to stay focused during the test.
7. Wish your child good luck each morning of the test. Tell your child that you believe they can succeed!!
